Il leone verde is an Italian independent publisher founded in 1997, which has specialized in texts on parenting/child-wellfare (childbirth, breastfeeding, mothering, baby-wearing, co-sleeping and many others) and issues related to growing children. Many of these have been translated and published in foreign languages, among which Spanish, Greek, Chinese, Arabic, Hungarian, Polish.
Hard-cover illustrated books for children and adults are also published, focusing on family bonding, relationship with others, relationship with one’s inner world and high-contact care.
The offer is completed by an important series dedicated to Maria Montessori and her thinking, that includes unpublished works by Maria herself, together with works by her grandson and other major authors inside the Montessori world.
